Hi Ryan,
Glad to hear the GPS Pro is working well for you!
Great idea on the POI identifier. We’ll give it some thought and let you know if/when it might appear in a future firmware release.
Keep the feedback coming as you use it more in the field.
Best regards,
Brett
I just purchased and tested out the Bad Elf Pro. Its great. I have no complaints and the software to interface with it on iOS is very nice. The only feedback I have is to implement a point of interest counter that increments a number in the name of each POI (or perhaps the name is the number) — every time one records a POI a unique number is given to it and displayed on the LCD. Folks could then use this in the field to take notes in a water-proof notebook (or whatever) and tie it to a point of interest. One could then reset the counter to zero if desired. I suspect that this would have to be implemented partially in the iOS app to enable reseting of the counter. This kind of device could be great for resource management. Either way, I look forward to field and travel adventures with the Bad Elf Pro!
Brett,
Thanks again for your help in troubleshooting the performance of my plug-in Bad Elf GPS during the AOPA Aviation Summit in Palm Springs. The service and support your team provides is superb.
I returned with the loaner unit prior to the closing of the AOPA Aviation Summit on Saturday and hoped to find you to say thanks.
Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Hi Rich,
You can purchase the plug-in Bad Elf GPS from our online store (via the Store link in upper right corner of our website), from Amazon.com, or any of our other resellers like MyGoFlight, Sporty’s, Spruce, Gulf Coast, Pacific Coast, etc. You may also be able to find it at your local pilot shop.
Hope that helps! If not, send an email to us at support@bad-elf.com and we’ll answer any further questions.
