Brett,
Continuing on non IOS support- when the firmware fix is in, would it be possible to link to IOS and non IOS devices simultaneously or will it be one or the other, not both? Also, for non IOS connectivity, will multiple simultaneous device pairing be possible?
Thanks,
Jay
Sorry, somehow missed your post last week. In terms of battery life, Bluetooth and plug-in consume about the same amount of power. So the main concern is if you mind have yet another battery to charge, or if it’s worth it for the extra features in the GPS Pro (multiple device connectivity, standalone datalogging, etc).
Hope that helps!

Hi Im thinking to purchase the Bad elf gps 30 pin, my question is does it consume less battery than the pro which is Bluetooth… I have realized that bluetooh GPS device consume alot of battery especially on the Ipad…. thanky ou
Hi Jason,
If we add support for non-iOS platforms we will be able to do it via a firmware update, no HW changes necessary. Still getting lots of requests but don’t have an ETA yet.
Best regards,
Brett
In the future, if you do add support for android or pc use, would I be able to do a software update for the current model or would I have to buy a completely new unit?
