Back in Production
Since we last updated our production status about two weeks ago, we have worked together with our antenna supplier to get the delayed batch in house as quickly as possible. To that end, we received the antennas, our manufacturer attached them, we tested them, and completed final assembly and packaging. Hundreds of them have now found their way to the Amazon store! If you signed up for notification on our website, you may have already received an email notification in advance of this post. We are rolling through the notification list in sync with the number that are getting out to the store.
In the time since we sold out of inventory, our waiting list has grown to be longer than the lot size that we have just produced, so we sent out notifications in the order in which people signed up to be informed. In the meantime, we are continuing to assemble additional units in order to restock on a rolling basis. We will provide news as available, with the intent of giving slightly earlier notice by email to those who have signed up for notification. We feel we owe it to those who have been most patient to have a chance to get to the front of the line while we catch up for everyone. We thank you all for your patience and feedback throughout this process.
Update (Sat 29-Jan): We expect to have more inventory in stock by Feb 4, so sign up for the notification list and we'll give you a head's up. No need to sign up again if you're on the list already; we're sending notices in chronological order.
’Never got the notification email, but they are for sale on Amazon (1:00 PM CST Feb 5, 2011).
Hi, one quick follow up question in regards to Canadian orders. I would like to know if you will ship USPS to Canada. Reason being UPS and Fedex are notoriously bad for Canadians as they add customs charges to each shipment (they use their own customs brokerage firms). This means Canadian customers get stiffed with customs brokerage fees + HST (13%) plus whatever duties may be applicable. This can add significantly to our orders. USPS does not use a customs broker and the receiver simply pays HST and any applicable duties upon delivery.
Dani – Amazon restricts sales to the US only. So, keep an eye out for the link on our Store page to be updated to include the eBay icon, where you will be able to order it for shipment to Canada. And with the US Dollar and Canadian Dollar at about parity, price will be about the same. In fact, I think the Loonie is more valuable than the greenback now!
Thanks John I know what it means to have customers on allocation, working in the semiconductor industry for over 25years.
Thank the elves from all of us!
Great news!
Will you please have a decent price and the availability to ship to Canada?
Tried to order last time on Amazon and the order could not be completed.
Thanks.
