Bad Elf GPS & iPad (3rd generation)

Received the new iPad an hour ago - we've run some quick tests, and are happy to report the Bad Elf GPS seems to work just fine. Please note that we can't officially claim compatibility with the new iPad until we have approval from Apple under the Made for iPod (MFi) program. Based on past experience we expect this to be complete within 3-4 weeks.
What's that app on the screen, you ask? That's a preview of our new utility app, which should be available on the App Store shortly. More details soon!

While in flight training It was recommended that I purchase a Bad Elf. Since I have a blue airplane that follows my path on my flights with or without the Bad Elf, please tell me the advantages of having one. Thank you.

Same experience here in the UK, got myiPad3 yesterday morning and immediately tested it with my GPS-1000 and it worked fine :-)
The new utility looks interesting, when is it likely to be released?
Great!!!!! That’s all I needed to see since I just got my new iPad about an hour ago too so will proceed to buy your GPS right away!!!!! Thanx for updating so fast!!!
