We would like to wish congratulations to Eric Ball, the July 29th winner of the Bad Elf Summer of Giveaways contest. We are still waiting to hear back from the July 15th winner, but we will post our congratulations as soon as we make contact.
Eric is from Rangiora, a small town just north of Christchurch, New Zealand. Eric plans to use his Bad Elf GPS with his iPod touch. Eric has purchased City Maps 2Go for use on his upcoming trips. Eric already enjoys Pocket Universe and Star Walk on his iPod touch.

Hi there,
What outstanding service, first from Bad Elf for awarding me one of their absolutely wonderful GPS receivers, and then to the US Postal Service for getting it to me here in New Zealand in under 1 week!
Having got it in the mail earlier today I’ve been able to use it with City Maps2Go and Google maps with outstanding results. It really is a dream to use.
As an added bonus, I don’t now have to rely on the rather fragile Apple connector cable for synching/charging etc.. as the micro USB on the Bad Elf permits me to connect directly using a USB-micro USB cable (supplied with the Bad Elf for all iPod connections.
Once again – well done Bad Elf, a really excellent bit of kit.
